70s metal storage - cream reviewed by linnymap
Good solid product, bought one in the shop today on a visit to Brighton. Very reasonably priced for such a good, solid item and love the fact that it has no lettering on it. I would recommend it.

This is the business if you want a fresh clear start to everyday, wonderful
Copper cloths (pair) reviewed by Megumi Fukuda
My favourite product. I cleaned glasses, a stainless steel sink, and an enamel hob top, leaving them all refreshed and without scratches. Highly recommended to everyone!

Fantastic shop! Love the feel, the sound and the smell. Always make a B line for Utility!
Teapot Medium reviewed by Deborah
I just bought one of these from the shop and it's so pleasing! It is properly teapot-y in all the right ways! That satisfying clunky ceramic sound of the lid dropping into place, and the glaze really is gorgeous. A really good price at 9 squid for a medium. I will be back to fill my little flat with more of your lovely things! Thank you

Love going to this shop. Always top of the list when visiting Brighton which I try and do often. I made some cushion covers from the herringbone floor cloths. They look amazing.

Particularly like the music you play in the shop- if you released a mixtape/cd album I would definitely buy it.

Best shop in the world! If I could buy everything in it I would (Iḿ working on it).

We absolutely LOVE Utility. There were some original 1940's (I think) Hovis bread tins when we popped in the first time, and I was kicking myself on our second visit because they'd all sold out! I settled for some pie tins instead (that's a whole other story of culinary disaster). Lovely shop, and lovely Colin!

After about a 20 minute browse and a great 10 minute chat with Colin spending just over a fiver came out with a big cheesy grin on my face and four exercise books, builders pencils and a fishing net. A fantastic shopping experience, the shop is not a museum but is reminiscent of a bygone age. Keen prices on the own brand stuff too. When are you opening a branch in Wales?

Ilove my giant serving spoon so shiny so big and so spoony.

We always love coming into your shop - such lovely (but useful) stuff and a good old fashioned feel to the place - with good old fashioned service! Love it !
